JJ Curran Crane helps bridge connect Kiwanis Trail in Adrian, Michigan

We recently helped install a new 83-foot bridge over the River Raisin just south of Merrick Street in Adrian. The bridge connects the Kiwanis Trail to Riverside Park. The story made the headlines in Adrian and we made the cover of the The Daily Telegram on September 9 complete with a video link of the actual lift. Special thanks goes out to our own Trevor Weber and his crew for another JJ Curran Crane job well done. (click the image below to watch the video!)

JJ Curran Crane Makes Headlines (Twice) for Michigan International Speedway Job

JJ Curran Crane was honored to be featured as the cover story in two publications this fall for our work installing a 170-foot rotating sign at the Michigan International Speedway. Crane Hot Line Magazine ran a feature on how new and rebuilt all-terrains from our fleet played a key role. According to our field engineer Brian Gentner, both cranes were selected for their capacity based on load weight, radius and the amount of boom necessary to perform the lifts.

We were also featured in Michigan Contractor & Builder for our team work at the speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. As a family business, we were proud to be featured with Don Bell Signs, another family-owned business, to partner in getting everything in place in time for race day.

JJ Curran Crane Brings Light to Michigan State University

JJ Curran Crane recently helped shed some new light on Spartan Stadium in East Lansing. With a night game pending against Youngstown State, we were called into action to help place the lights. Not only did those lights help the Spartans win 28-6, but we are confident they played a role in the October 22 night game against Wisconsin. The Spartans won 37-31 in one the most exciting games in recent history. As proud Spartan Alumni, we were honored to play our part for our beloved university. Go State!
